PM Risk Guard ("we", "us", or "the Extension") is an unofficial third-party Chrome extension that helps users practice responsible trading and risk management on Polymarket.com. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Polymarket (Blockratize Inc.) in any way.

Information We Collect

We collect the minimum data required to provide the extension's features:

Wallet Address - You may connect via your wallet or manually enter an Ethereum address. It is stored only in your browser's chrome.storage.local and is used to fetch your own public trading data. It is never sent to our servers.
Polymarket Activity Data - We fetch positions, trades, PnL, and activity directly from Polymarket's public Data API using the wallet address. This data stays in your browser.
Anonymous Usage Statistics (opt-out) - To understand which features are useful, the extension sends anonymous event counts (for example "popup opened", "inspector used") together with the extension version and a random identifier generated on your device to our endpoint (api.pmriskguard.com). No wallet addresses, trades, balances, or browsing history are ever included. You can turn this off at any time in Settings → Privacy. Daily-active records expire automatically after 60 days.

We do not collect or store:

Private keys, seed phrases, or any signing credentials
Browser history, cookies, or cross-site tracking data
Your name, location, or IP-based profiles

AI Discipline Coach (PRO, user-initiated)

When you click "Analyze my trading", the extension sends anonymous derived statistics (period PnL, win rate, trade counts, discipline streak, budget usage) to our endpoint (api.pmriskguard.com), where they are processed by a third-party AI provider to generate behavioral coaching.

Your wallet address, raw trades, and identity are never included in the analysis request.
Requests are authorized by a random install token not linked to your wallet or identity.
The output is behavioral coaching only; market predictions and buy/sell advice are explicitly excluded.
Analyses run only when you click the button and are limited per day.

Payments (PRO subscription)

The optional PRO subscription is processed by ExtensionPay and Stripe. If you subscribe or start a free trial, ExtensionPay collects your email address for login and receipts. The extension only learns your subscription status (paid / trial / free); we never see or store your card details or email on our servers.

Feedback

If you choose to send feedback from the extension, your message (and optionally your wallet address and current tab, for context) is relayed via Web3Forms to our inbox. Feedback is sent only when you explicitly submit the form.

How We Use Your Information

Calculate your live risk score, exposure, PnL, loss streaks, and trade frequency — locally in your browser
Display bankroll protection tools, cooling-off periods, and trade guardrails on Polymarket.com
Improve the product using anonymous, aggregated feature-usage counts
Generate AI discipline coaching when you explicitly request it (PRO)

Data Storage and Security

Extension state is stored locally via chrome.storage.local. The only data leaving your device are: read-only calls to Polymarket's public APIs, anonymous usage statistics (opt-out), user-initiated AI analysis requests (anonymous derived stats), user-initiated feedback, and payment processing by ExtensionPay + Stripe.

You can delete local data at any time by disconnecting your wallet inside the extension or removing the extension entirely.

Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties. Service providers we rely on: Polymarket public APIs (market/wallet data), Cloudflare (our API endpoint), a third-party AI provider (processes anonymous derived stats for PRO analyses), ExtensionPay + Stripe (payments), and Web3Forms (feedback delivery).

Your Rights and Choices

Turn off anonymous usage statistics in Settings → Privacy
Disconnect or clear your wallet address at any time
Cancel the PRO subscription at any time via the customer portal
Disable or remove the extension completely

Children's Privacy

The Extension is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top will be changed. Continued use of the extension after changes means you accept the new policy.
